Nigel Wright –
I have used the Burley Carlby for 3 Winters. the heat output is impressive and easy to control. The stove is easy to light using the top down method & Eco lighters (no horrible smelly fumes) The best wood to burn on this stove is hard wood such as kiln dried Birch & Ash. Soft woods burn fast and soot up the door glass. The air control lever has no insulated handle which is a nuisance.
